Knife mechanism
The first step in creating a folding knife from a drawing is to incorporate a mechanism. Whether slipjoint, linerlock, ... you have to respect certain constraints and adapt the shape accordingly. We can design the mechanism that will be best suited to the constraint of the knife while meeting your expectations.
We work with traditional methods. From a sketch, an image of a drawing, we make a paper plan of all the elements of the knife;
The ultimate goal is to achieve a design of a product optimised for production in small or large series.
Creation of the prototype
From the plans of the knife that we have made or that have been entrusted to us, we create the metal parts (blades, springs, liners...) to arrive at a functional, aesthetic and quality product.
Having a physical version of the project makes it possible to better understand the expectations and to verify that the aesthetic and mechanical rendering correspond to the project.
Laser cutting of the kit
From a prototype or a digital file of a knife, we set up the creation and production of the metal supply through different service providers.
We follow the creation through various tests to verify that the cut is optimal.
Once the series is launched, all contacts and information are given so that the customer is in control of his product.
